Terrain upgrades!


Update, no update.


I recently had a chance to sit down to experiment with some new tools for terrain generation and I'm excited by the results. There's not much to show for now, but I have a new terrain incoming that has waaaaaaay better fine details (thanks to eliminating the need for a smoothing pass) and has an albedo map created from satellite imagery.


Best of all I will be able to start the process of procedurally placing vegetation based on this new albedo map (much nicer than the colour by height currently in the build).
