Hyper Speed Drifter
A love letter to the Wipeout series of games. Go fast, drift far!
Developed in the Godot game engine
It should work with a joypad or keyboard. Title screen controller navigation is a work in progress.
Joypad:
Left Stick = turn left/right, pitch up/down
South Button (B/X) = thrust
Shoulder Triggers = air brakes
Keyboard:
Turn: A/D
Pitch: W/S
Brakes: Q/E
Thrust: Space
Esc/Start will bring up the menu.

Very good! I'm not normally a fan of racing games, so my input here may not be especially helpful, but I enjoyed the game!
The torus shaped track creates very interesting drifting geometries, and having to stay close to the track to keep your vehicle powered keeps the player from simply flying laps, but without feeling too restrictive. I also enjoyed the Low-poly art style, and the colors really stood out to me.

I went with the torus as it's a built in primative shape and a good test track, but I have plans to make some wildly twisty tracks now that the basic gravity and flight systems are in place.
